Get your music group or classroom involved.
Getting your students or group involved in Practice for Peace is not only a wonderful way to help war-traumatized children; it’s also a fantastic way to motivate your students to practice daily. Just follow the steps below to get started.
The first 50 individuals who raise $100 or more will receive their choice of a free Shropshire Music Foundation t-shirt or a guitar pick necklace!

Step 1:

Download the Practice for Peace Form (due to technical difficulties, please email monica@shropshirefoundation.org for a copy of the Form) which includes a Pledge Form, Daily Practice Log and other great tools.

Step 2:

Introduce your group to the Shropshire Music Foundation and the Practice for Peace program by downloading and showing this excellent video. (To download, right click on the link and select “Save target as…”) You can view it yourself first on our home page.

Step 3:

Send your group out to find sponsors (family, friends, neighbors, teachers) who will pledge a certain amount for each minute of practice during the month of November. Suggested amounts – pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters.

Step 4:

For one month, have each person record practice minutes daily during on the Daily Practice Log.

Step 5:

Have each person tally up his or her practicing minutes and collect their pledges during the first week of the following month.

Collect all the pledges from each member of your group.

Mail all of the pledge money and Daily Practice Logs to:
